According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, only about 1 percent of China's agricultural output met the green
standard in 2005. But Chinese consumers are starting to develop a taste for organically grown food as pesticides,

Tips for buying Organic Food: 1)Look for the Organic symbol - a seed inside a green circle. The standards for
this symbol are much higher than ordinary foods(foods containing this symbol are not allowed to be genetically
modified, must not contain pesticides/herbicides/fungicides).2)Look for the organic section of your local grocery
store instead of wholesale food selections. 3)Besides the supermarkets, you can find organic foods in health food
stores, specialty stores and organic farms.
