magazines in Beijing and is often cheaper than Amazon. It isn’t just the best place to buy magazines, foreign-language titles
and borrow books, but also one of the city’s most popular places to relax with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc or catch a talk by

在这家奇特却散发着知性魅力的店里，最好的莫过于聚集在这里的人——不同年龄的人聚
集在北京“书虫”里思考、做梦、开阔思绪。而这一切都归功于“书虫”的主人：英国人亚历山
德拉·皮尔森的一双慧眼。“我来北京已超过１５年了，起初来这儿是为了在中央音乐学院学
习，但我自己不过是个音乐业余爱好者。”亚历山德拉谦虚地说，“中国对我来说并不陌生，
我父母曾在英国驻华使馆工作，所以上世纪８０年代我就生活在这里，直到９０年代初才
回国。大概在５年前，我在北京开了这家‘书虫’。最近我和父母一起开设了另外两家分店，
一家在成都，另外一家在苏州。”
书店特色：说不清楚这里到底是一家微型图书馆还是一家可阅读的咖啡馆，因为在这里不
仅可以阅读，还可心无旁骛地吃饭，各种简餐美食和书一样让人欣然首肯，只是冷冷的不
够温暖的服务态度尚需提高。位置颇好，格调足够安静，在三里屯酒吧街里一个闹中取静
的幽闭之处，外面初看就是一个大仓库，艺术气质让人想起798。环顾四周都是以英文书为
主的外文书籍，大部分都是英文原版，所以来这里的客人80%都是老外。店藏据说已达到
16000册，来自不同的英语国家，关于中国、关于历史地理、关于文化。店内专门划分了吸
烟区和非吸烟区，装潢、氛围和文化气息都艺术另类，适合看书、上网聊天、喝咖啡、吃
简单西餐、自备电脑加班、独处、消磨时光、发呆、等人。
书虫里面有很多外文书，有些是市面上不容易买到的，客人可以在店里随意翻阅，如果办
一个借书证还可以把书借回家看。书虫很适合晚餐前的小酌，有经过精心挑选的不错的葡
萄酒，还有跟葡萄酒很相配的tapas小吃，每个月的第三个星期四，会举办ASC的品酒会，
另外还有个挺有规模的Whisky Bar，可以品尝很多种苏格兰威士忌。如果觉得餐前喝得清
淡一些，也可以点一杯叫做“Cosmopolitan”的粉红色鸡尾酒。
特别推荐：这里也可以算是一个锻炼口语和交读友的地方，少见的以英语为主导的休闲空
间，集图书馆、书店、餐吧、咖啡馆和酒吧为一体的休闲之处。一个人来看累了就吃，吃
完了随便和身边的读友聊上几句，志趣相投便惺惺相惜，话不投机也可一笑了之，继续看
书或者上网，老板的个人藏书是很多读友的兴趣之一。目前老书虫会定期组织小型音乐
会、作者讲座、书籍签售、诗歌之夜和讨论聚会等各色活动。大红沙发旁的落地灯下恍惚
的书的影子和光很有欧洲文艺沙龙的味道。办理借书证，半年期会费大概是人民币200元；
全年期会费人民币300元。还可包办私人派对、员工聚会、午餐以及外送。

2. Turn South onto Nan Sanlitun Lu and walk 200 metres (passing The Rickshaw on your left) to the first small turning on your
Left. (Be careful not to walk too far South on Nansanlitun).
3.You will find The Bookworm, a large green building on your immediate Right. If you reach Banana Leaf, you've gone too far -
we're between Banana Leaf and the main road.
From Gong Ren Ti Yu Cheng (The Worker's Stadium):
1. Head East passing China View on the South side of the road, and 200 metres later, pass Ya Show Clothing Market on the
North side.
2. When you reach the intersection of Nan Sanlitun Lu and Sanlitun Bei Lu (approx 0.5km from The Worker's Stadium), turn
South onto Nan Sanlitun Lu and walk 200 metres (passing The Rickshaw on your left) to the first small left turning on your Left.
