This is the place to come in Beijing if you are hit by a sudden craving for real German food. But since a
desire for sausage is normally accompanied by a good old-fashioned thirst, the oriental Germanophile
will be relieved to know that the fresh-brewer beer - made in its own microbrewery - is served at the
perfect temperature and guaranteed not to be flat. It naturally makes the perfect accompaniment for a
meal of wurst sausages and sauerkraut. The constant supply of hot pretzels and rolls served with pate,
lard and mustard is a plus. One tip: the pork knuckle is plenty for two.
